The leak stop is the most common system to repair the leaks in A/C systems. It quickly seals the leaks in the rubber components and it is very simple to use. It could be used also for a preventative maintenance.

1) Recover the refrigerant gas from the A/C system;

2) Vacuum the system for 5 minutes;

3) If you cannot reach -0,25 bar and hold above -0,23 bar, there may be a single hole too large to be repaired;

4) Disconnect from A/C systems the low pressure hose of the charging station and connect the leak stop to low pressure service valve;

5) Hold the can upside down, push the botton until the complete emptying (about 8/10 seconds), then disconnect the can from the system; 6) Recharge the A/C system following the manufacturer indications; 7) Start the engine and the A/C system at least 20 minutes, allowing the leak stop to circulate and work.
